A small group strength training class led by Hali Jones, PT, DPT. Not Pilates — pure strength work!

You’ll train with free weights — dumbbells, barbells, and more — building strength through progressive, well-structured sessions with individual attention and room for modifications. Expect a mix of lifts, accessory work, and plyometric movements.

A good fit if you’re newer to strength training or just want a more supportive environment — and are looking for quality coaching in a small group setting.

Strength training is one of the most effective things you can do for long-term health — supporting bone density, muscle mass, and how you feel and move as you age.

Bone Density: What You Need to Know

Education, movement and a practical path forward.

Join Hali Jones, PT, DPT for a workshop that combines education and movement — designed for anyone who wants to understand how bone health works and what they can actually do about it.
 
Bone density is built and maintained through complex interactions of different body systems over a lifetime. Whether you’re being proactive, managing a diagnosis like osteopenia or osteoporosis, or navigating the hormonal shifts that accelerate bone loss, this workshop gives you a clear picture of where you stand and a practical framework for moving forward.
 
Hali will cover the science of how bone responds to load and why strength and impact training matter more than most of us were taught. The workshop weaves movement throughout, with options at multiple levels so you can experience what bone-supportive exercise actually feels like in your body, regardless of your current fitness or mobility.

Settle In: A Sunday Reset

...an Afternoon of Movement and Sound

Sunday, July 12th | 2-4pm

$39 per person

Some afternoons are meant for slowing down.
 
Settle-In is a two-hour Sunday experience combining gentle mat movement with a full sound bath — designed to help you decompress, land in your body, and rest deeply.
 
Kelly will guide you through about 30 minutes of intentional movement on the mat with supportive props, focused around breath and centering. We move first because it matters. Gentle mat movement will help you transition out of the noise of your day, reconnect with your body, and arrive in a place where deep rest is actually possible.
 
We’ll then be ready to transition to some incredible sound healing with Ashley from Heal with Ashley. She’ll take over for about 60 minutes of a sound bath and meditation, carrying you the rest of the way.
 
We’ll close slowly. There’s no rushing out the door — just time to return to yourself before you head back into your day.
 
No experience necessary. Just show up. Takes place at our Pilates studio in North Boulder. Spots limited. **This experience takes place on the mat. Some ability to get up and down from the floor is needed.
 
Time is allotted for two hours to allow for transitions and a slow pace. Please arrive with enough time to get settled to begin at 2pm, and know there will be time for a slow return to the outside world on the back side.
 

Pain in the Butt - Pilates + Group Coaching

Low back pain, tight hamstrings, hip tenderness….they all are a pain in the butt.  Join us on Zoom for this virtual 4-session workshop series designed to help release tension and increase mobility in some of your biggest muscle groups–the glutes, hips and thighs.  Tension and lack of mobility here can contribute to pain in many other parts of your body, and we’ll learn all about those surprising relationships, as well as how to relieve them.  We’ll focus on foundational Pilates mat exercises that can tap into new movement patterns in exercise, work and life.  As a group, we’ll also talk about the impact of how we live our lives outside of exercise that can contribute to hip tightness and glute pain.  Sitting, driving, unbalanced training…these are all obvious contributors that we’ll dig into.   We’ll also cover some less obvious factors that can make significant impacts, too.   Each session we’ll build on the prior through movement, learning, listening, and connecting–within ourselves and to each other.

*Note, this workshop is not intended to support acute injuries.  In case of a recent injury or surgery, please work with your doctor or physical therapist on a protocol for rehabilitation. 

This workshop series is led by Kelly Gorder, NBC-HWC.  Kelly is a National Board Certified Professional Coach and a Balanced Body Comprehensive Certified Pilates instructor.
